In Stitches

In Stitches is a video sculpture. The viewer gazes into a knitted television cover to see and hear the video, which is of a knitted tube in progress. The effect is eerily gastrointestinal. A gentle clicking of knitting needles can be heard. Here’s the video that plays on screen:

    I can’t remember where or when I saw this first but I do remember being mesmerized and in awe of it. Such a brilliant conceptual idea. I am really a huge fan of this piece. :)
