I won a MakerBot CupCake CNC machine!
Providence geek den AS220 recently had a raffle to both give away and raise money for their own MakerBot CupCake CNC. I bought a ticket and won! I’ll soon be 3D printing from my studio, yay, and THANKS!

Did you get this built yet? I’m curious about your impressions of it. I’d like to order one, would you recommend it?

I didn’t have to build it, that’s it there in the picture. They assembled it as part of a workshop and then mailed it to me. It’s really cool! I can’t comment on the build process, though.

Neat. Have you made things with it? Does it turn out? You should post some pics.

Do you build 3D prototypes of custom models for a fee? I’m a student and I don’t have money to buy makerbot. If not, could you please suggest anybody who provides this service?

If you post your models to Thingiverse.com, someone might build them for you!
