Very curious how it works when not connected to a laptop. I’ve had bad luck with wearable capacitive touch sensors. they work fine with the CPU tethered, but don’t when running on batteries…
The circuit must be connected to earth ground. When not tethered to the computer, I clip Flora’s GND to a piece of copper tape stuck to an electrical conduit, heating pipe, or my metal desk leg. =]
